AUDE - Cascastel

VE Day or Victory in Europe is commemorated each year in France. Here in Cascastel we process to the War memorial where the Mayor, M. Cournéde places a wreath and reads out the names of each Cascastelloise who lost his life during the two World Wars. He then reads a letter sent to all the Mayors in France. After this ceremony we all go to the Salle Polyvalent and have aperitifs
