The wilds of the Corbières

Wandering around the wilds of the Corbières - up above Quintillan I took these photos - On the Col d'Amiel it is wild and remote - Bruyer which looks a bit like heather but takes its name from the fact that, apparently, it resists fire - useful in these arid conditions...........
