...........and now for something completely different.

On an overcast Sunday morning half a dozen members of "Les amis du Château de Cascastel" began work clearing a fountain constructed in the 18th century by Joseph Gaspard Pailhoux, Seigneur of Cascastel (he survived the revolution to become Mayor). The village for the first time had clean water. At the side of it is another fountain which is missing the stone plaque. Both this and parts of the surrounding wall of the basin under the fountains were swept away by the flood of 1999
