Sommières, 2000 Years of History

The small town of Sommières and it's Castle, built in the 10th Century, on the hill above. It originally had two Towers but now only one remains.

Sommières was the final home for the Writer Lawrence Durrell (The Alexandria Quartet) - He died at his house there in November 1990
