Albi .......

The Cathedral Basilica of Saint Cecilia dominating the City of Albi. First built as a fortress in the aftermath of the Albigensian (Cathar) Crusade; begun in 1282 and under construction for 200 years, it is claimed to be the largest brick building in the world

On into the Cathedral of St Cecile in Albi with the Gloriuos Painted Nave, which is the widest Gothic example in France at 60 feet (18 m).
